I was excited to find out this past week that an independent film that I co-starred in six years ago, Locker 13,  just sold to Arc Entertainment and got distribution!

I attended the private screening last night, and there will be a limited theatrical release through Harkins Theatres. You can see the movie at the Harkins Scottsdale 101 or Harkins Superstition Springs 25 starting March 28th, and then it will release on DVD at major retailers like Walmart as well as through Redbox on April 25th.

PLEASE SUPPORT OUR LOCAL FILMMAKERS IN ARIZONA AND GO SEE THIS MOVIE!!! It will only run for a couple of weeks, but we’d love to fill the seats and bring more film projects to our state. The movie is a drama suspense/thriller, and was shot primarily in Arizona and L.A.

You will see some familiar faces, like Rick Schroder (The Champ, “NYPD Blue”, “Silver Spoons”), Curtis Armstrong (Revenge of the Nerds, Risky Business, Moonlighting) David Huddleston (Blazing Saddles, The Big Lebowski), Rick Hoffman (Suits, Jake in Progress, The Condemned), Tatyana Ali (“Fresh Prince of Bel Air”, “Young and the Restless”), and more.

Click on the link below for more info and to view the trailer. If you don’t recognize me, I’m the one wearing feathers in the trailer! 🙂

‘Tis the season for new ventures, new projects and lots of fun! I’ve been working like crazy lately for lots of new projects and clients, and one of them is a brand new social media golf club that just launched called GrassHopper Golf!

This is a really cool concept for golf lovers around the world because it allows you to have access to golf pros, training, working on your swing, and even getting in to private clubs around the globe…all done through an online platform!

Check out the videos I hosted at GrassHopper Golf, and send it to anyone you know who loves to tee up!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year, everyone! Well, it’s time for all our resolutions to begin, and with that in mind, I just finished a few television commercials for the most amazing Sports and Health Club in Seattle, Washington!

Now, this is not your average club – it is more like a resort, complete with everything from a beauty salon, spa, doctors on staff for everything from anti-aging treatments to weight loss and nutrition plans…and oh, of course, a world class workout facility with everything you could imagine!

It is the Pro Sports Club, owned by Dr. Mark DeDomenico, who was one of the world renowned heart surgeons who helped develop bypass surgery. He also oversaw one of the largest privately held companies, Golden Grain Macaroni Company, which had the Rice-a-Roni, Golden Grain Pasta and Ghirardelli brands.

His devotion to health and fitness is seen throughout this amazing health club, and his vision for helping people improve their lifestyles is impressive! Check out one of the 30-second spots that aired last year, and there’s more to come in 2014!

January 2013 – I WANT YOU!

I have just completed my BRAND NEW poster for 2013! Starting Jan. 15th, you will be able to order it here, so check back then for all the updated info! All you calendar fans are going to LOVE this! /></a>patriotic, and in your face - this poster takes Instead of a calendar this year, I decided to switch it up because so many people keep requesting a Cathy Rankin poster. And boy, did we answer! This year, I have re-created what might be one of the most famous images of true Americana – The iconic Uncle Sam recruiting poster! We had SO much fun taking this shot – You’ve never seen Uncle Sam like this Sexy, Sheepdog IA, which supports all first responders who are critical to helping our communities in so many ways! I felt with all the recent national disasters and tragedies, this cause couldn’t be more timely and relevant, and it is very important to me personally. Remember, many of our veterans come home and continue to use their critical skills to work for all of us, often unnoticed, unappreciated and unpaid, by being first responders. Let’s show our gratitude and help support this important service they provide to ALL our communities.

In addition, I am still going to continue contributing a portion of proceeds from my work to New England Warrior. Through the calendar project, we have been able to donate over $10,000 dollars to the charity – the money has gone to scholarship support for military families, wreaths on veteran’s graves, supplies for the troops, and more! Thank you to ALL the AMAZING and loyal fans who have made this possible! Let’s keep up the good work and make 2013 a great year! Remember, you can get more information and order the new poster starting January 15th by clicking on the link on my homepage – hurry because they won’t last long since we had so many pre-orders!

I will be hand signing posters in the Dillon Booth at the upcoming Shot Show in Las Vegas, Jan. 15th through 18th! Hope to see you there – ENJOY!

And by the way, I kept the Uncle Sam top-hat, you never know when you might need one, LOL

Bliss happens!

Oh, what fun I had today! I have interviewed a lot of celebrities over the years, but I was seriously so excited to meet and interview Kym Douglas, author of “Hollywood Beauty Secrets,” “Hollywood Diet Secrets,” and her brand new book coming out on October 16th, “Bliss Happens.”

If you haven’t seen Kym, you are missing out! She is one of Ellen DeGeneres’ favorite guests, known for her crazy, zany beauty tips, and she frequently appears on all the major morning and daytime shows, from Good Day L.A. to The View, The Doctors, The Today Show and more.

Check out her website at kymdouglas.com and watch her video reel, she is hilarious in the way she presents the best kept beauty secrets from the stars, and I couldn’t wait to see if she was as fun in person! Well, she was not only fun, but I can say that she is genuinely one of the nicest, most down to earth, and positive people I’ve ever met! She is like the best friend you’ve always wanted 🙂

Anyhow, her book will be released on Ellen’s show on October 16th, so check out that episode because they always have a ton of laughs when she goes on the show. I will also post my interviews with Kym on my site as soon as they air.

Floral fashions, oh my!

Well, I’m not much of a “flowery” girl, but I guess that’s the latest trend in clothing, as I learned on a recent photo shoot!

I was booked for a six-page editorial fashion spread in Go Gilbert magazine. Great magazine, and I was thrilled, because as you know, petite girls like myself don’t usually get booked for the fashion stuff!

But, it was a lot of fun, the entire crew and owners were a blast, and the photographer did a great job at making me look taller than I really am, LOL!

Check out the spread at www.gogilbert.com,  just click on the October magazine cover, and then forward through to page 38, and that is where my layout starts!

Lounging in the Hills!

OK, so sometimes I get to mix business with pleasure. It’s a tough job, but someone’s gotta do it, right?

So, I was invited to attend an invitation only grand opening of the only lounge in Beverly Hills, which just opened atop the Mastro’s restaurant there…wow, what an event!

I was flown in and put up at the gorgeous Montage Hotel right near Rodeo Drive (oh so dangerous!), where I relaxed in a little California sun by the rooftop pool and then headed over to the event. I met some amazing people from all walks of life, gained a few new friends and contacts, and had a great time! There was lobster and shrimp and delicious food everywhere, and the rooftop views were amazing!

I don’t indulge in this kind of thing often, but I’m glad I did this time! I highly recommend if you go to L.A., you stop by this restaurant, it is worth every penny, and make SURE you try the buttercake!

VIDEO: Dancing with the Stars costume designer

I recently had the pleasure of interviewing the amazing costume designer from Dancing with the Stars, Randall Christensen. He was not only one of the nicest people I’ve interviewed, but he also gave great tips for women on dressing to flatter your figure, AND some juicy scoop about who on the show was naughty, and who was nice! But I promised I wouldn’t tell. 🙂

What’s amazing is that he was completely self-taught, and he literally designed and created every single costume for each star on a weekly basis, sometimes with only a day or two to get them all sewn and ready for prime time – talk about pressure!

Well, another day, another car commercial – I’ve lost count how many of these I’ve done over the years, but hey, they’re fun to do and I am kept up to date on what new models are coming out 🙂 I’m just hoping the next one is for Jaguar, because that’s my dream car, so maybe I could get a discount, LOL

GREAT GUNS! Just got back from the NRA show in St. Louis!

Thanks to all my friends and the fans who came out to support me and get the calendar! I had so much fun talking to everyone, and my friends from GunBlast shot this quick video on the show floor to help promote the project for supporting our troops!

Thanks guys! I didn’t get to do much sightseeing, and it rained the whole time, but all in all it was a great time, and I did get to experience some great food, you know the midwest loves its meat and potatoes, so who was I to argue 🙂
